Dialogues’18 Cinque – March 2018: A square designs’ principal interior designer Ajay Arya was amongst the 40 renowned architects & designers from across India who were invited to create signature products for the Dialogues 18 Cinque conclave that was held at Taj Falaknuma, Hyderabad hosted by Architect Sanjay Puri. His presentation was a decorative panel with marble, bringing to mind palatial courtyards – the idea perhaps seeded by the venue itself, a stunning 120-year-old palace turned hotel.
Austin Plywood Outstanding Performance Awards 2017: On 3rd Feburary’18, Ajay Arya, principal designer, A square designs, received an award from Austin Plywood for Outstanding Performance in the 1st position. Another achievement come our way.
Top 50 on the iGen 2016: In May’16 the ‘Architects and Interiors India’ magazine announced their list of Top 50 gen – next architects and designers who promise to add brilliance to the Indian urban scape through innovative design. Ajay Arya of ‘ A square design’ makes it on this prestigious list of Top 50 gen-next designers.
India Lifestyle Awards, 2016: ‘Best Interior Designer in Kolkata’ award for the year 2016 was presented to Ajay Arya on 31st January’16 at Bengaluru by actress Neha Dhupia on behalf of blindwink.in – the market research company.
Society Interiors Awards, 2015: On 21st Feb’15, Ajay Arya was felicitated with an award for ‘excellence’ in Architecture and Interior Design in Mumbai by the Society Interiors Magazine by Magna Publishing.
Rashtra Pratibha Puraskar, February 2013: The Integrated Council for Socio – Economic Progress presented the ‘ Rashtra Pratibha Puraskar’ to Mr. Ajay Arya in recognition of praiseworthy services, excellent performance and memorable contribution for the overall progress of the society. The award was presented in Kolkata on 24th February, 2013 by Shri Rabiranjan Chattopadhyay – Hon’ble Minister for Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal.
Quality Brands – 2012 – 2014: ‘A square designs’ received the Quality Brands India Award on 31st October, 2012
Rashtriya Uyog Ratna Award, October 2012: The National Education and Human Resource Development Organisation (NEHRDO), held its 17th Joint National Seminar on ‘National growth through individual contribution’ and an awards presentation function in Mumbai on 31st October, 2012. The seminar comprised of a dais consisting prominent ministers, economists, industrialists and actors from the Indian cinema. NEHRDO is an autonomous body of the Government of India, which confers the ‘Rashtriya Udyog Ratna Awards’ every year to select individuals and organizations for their excellence in their respective field of work, contribution to the society and national life. Interior Designer and entrepreneur Mr. Ajay Arya of Kolkata was awarded this prestigious ‘Rashtriya Udyog Ratna Award’ for excellence.
And, many are on the way to be added to the list.
Having asked about his inspiration and success mantra, Founder Ajay Arya – the Interior Designer with foresight, speaks,
‘The art of interior design is a practice that evolves constantly. The everyday challenge is to have the vision to understand and create ‘design’ to suit the clients taste and to keep up with the ever-changing global trends. The real thrill is that with practice, experiences become enriched. With knowledge from the past experiences one develops a sharpened eye for good taste.
I get immense job satisfaction doing interiors. When I see my designs come alive and at the end of a project when I actually get to see a smile on the faces of the people who are going to move into the newly done up space and their excitement, it truly makes my day!! It inspires me to work harder.
I just get intrigued by simple yet very crisp and chic interior settings. The palette of materials and colours being used inspire me to ‘create.’’
